HOW TO MEASURE FOR RIDING BOOTS

Follow these eight steps to learn how to measure for riding boots accurately and achieve the best possible fit for your made-to-measure boots.

Step 1

Measure vertically from the floor to the first marked point and record it as 1A. Measure the leg circumference at the same height and record it as 1B.

Step 2

Measure from the floor to the second marked point for 2A. Then measure the circumference at that exact height for 2B.

Step 3

Record the height from the floor to the third marked point as 3A. Measure the leg circumference at the same point and record it as 3B.

Step 4

Measure exactly 15 cm from the floor and record it as 4A. At the same height, measure the leg circumference and record it as 4B.

Step 5

Wrap the measuring tape around the instep and heel, following the diagram. Keep it close to the foot without pulling too tightly.

Step 6

Measure around the heel and ankle as shown in the diagram. Keep the foot flat and maintain a natural standing position.

Step 7

Measure around the widest part of the foot. Repeat the process for both feet and record each measurement separately.

Step 8

Trace each foot on a sheet of paper while keeping the pen vertical. Measure from the heel to the longest toe to determine the exact foot length.
